Our SLGO is Di Water, NMP, DCB, or DMF Soluble so it can be easily dispersed into solvents for further processing without the use of surfactants, it is truly solution processable The average thickness is 0.7-1.2nm. The conductivity & structure of graphite can be restored to our SLGO by reduction & annealing processes.
We can also provide Single Layered Graphene Oxide dispersions In Di Water, NMP, or DMF that use no surfactants to stabilize them.

Graphene is a member of the class of 2-dimensional materials discovered by Professor Andre Geim's research group at the University of Manchester. It consists of a hexagonal array of sp2-bonded carbon atoms, just like those found in bulk graphite. 2D materials display very interesting properties and they are fundamentally different from the 3D materials we encounter everyday. The discovery of 2D materials like graphene means that scientists now have access to materials of all dimensionalities.
Graphene is quite different from most conventional three-dimensional materials. Intrinsic graphene is a semi-metal or zero-gap semiconductor. The E-k relation is linear for low energies near the six corners of the two-dimensional hexagonal Billouin zone, leading to zero effective mass for electrons and holes
By oxidising, chemically processing graphene, and then floating them in water, the graphene flakes form a single sheet with very powerful carbon to carbon bonds.
